Can someone recommend a water heavy bag? I was thinking of buying the ringside 150 lb one, but have read some bad things. This content is protected Also, does anyone have any experience with this new lonsdale bag? This content is protected Thanks
**** man, your hitting the damn thing. Just dont buy a water bag and your good to go. If you dont want it to settle to the bottom then take it down when your done and turn it over or use the thing like a sandbag for your workouts(shouldering, a cushion for medicine ball slams, ground and pound, etc). I bought a cheap ass bag and it started to settle so I started doing the aforementioned things (except the ground and pound but that one would definetly work) and voila, no more hard spots.
you can also open up a bag that is developing hard spots and wrap the sandbags in towels, then put them back in. Saw someone on an Amazon review of a heavybag suggest it and a lot of people commented how well it worked.
uhhhhh... whatever you do, don't buy a ringside water bags. Trust me I purchased about 20 bags for my gym within the last two years. I purchased two water bags for my overseas trip and RINGSIDE SUCK! If you can, try to spend a little more for a real bag. The new waterbags i purchased were heavily advertised by ringside which freakin blow hard! I shipped two of those bags overseas where I had to work. One blew up after a couple of seconds after being put up. They were weighted prior to hanging and were both under the advertised weight. I ordered a replacement bag and it did the same damn thing. I was so pissed off I gave up and left them in the country I was visiting. After this trip I promised to never purchase ringside bag again. If they say 150 lbs you can't even get 150 pounds of water into a ringside bag. Go with a filled title bag.
