OK, call me shallow, but I still love them big, dumb heavyweights. We have some very interesting HW fights coming up. Several "worth watching" contenders / prospects: This Sat, Magomed Abdusalamov vs. Jason Pettway. Mag may be raw, but he hits like a truck. (13-0, 13 KO) I know nothing about Pettway, but at 9-0, 6 KO he can't be a total bum. March 24 is a triple: Wach - Tye Fields (49-4, 44 KOs) - PPV, I think. + Adamek vs. Nagy Aguilera Sergei Liakhovich vs. Bryant Jennings Interestingly, the Adamek & Liakhovich bouts are listed as being shown on NBC. - Is this the rebirth of major network boxing? --------- Is anyone excited over any of this bouts, or are they all being sponsored by Del Monte? (Personally, I can't wait to see Abdusalamov. If he could just improve his skills a little .... )
So.... No one is excited to watch Abdusalamov? I find that surprising. Or maybe I just have to stop posting at 4am!
I'm a heavyweight fan, but I have to be honest, I'm not particularly looking forward to any of the above really. :conf
Isn't Szpilka fighting next week? I'll be excited to see that and perhaps Abdusalumov but not really that much. Not too excited for any other these bouts admittedly. Also, Wach-Fields PPV lolwutda****.
