Are there any other success stories of fighters dropping down from heavyweight to crusierweight besides Orlin Norris? He has always been one of my favorites and cant think of anyone to win a title besides him. Great skills and would not have beaten Holyfield but feel that had he dropped down much earlier, would have won some rounds from Evander in a decision loss for the title.

You sir obviously missed his epic victory over Tony Velasco, and that it took someone of Jesse Ferguson's ability to stop the Boozers run at Heavyweight gold!

The only reason Tyrone is not on this thread is because he moved up to Heavy, not down to Cruiser.

A fair example if we are using Cruiserweight in its original British meaning..

This is, of course, what I meant.

Second only to the late, great Magne Havnå in my book.

True, an awesome specimen Havnå; Mr Monsieur, Ratliff, Mr Entertainment himself Johnny Nelson, Westgarth, Jaco and of course Booze; Norway and indeed dare I say it, Scandinavia never had it so good.

Dave Jaco was the ****. Seriously underrated. The prototype tall heavy. No one else KO'd Ruddock so emphatically.

(ps. You didn't mention Bashiri Ali.)
