For a while, Lewis was hoping to fight Kirk Johnson in Canada, but Vitlai blew Kirk Johnson out. After the match Vitlai called Lewis out on camera. Lewis told the press several time he would take a re-match. A re-match that would paied Lewis $15 million was offered. That's an insane amount of money! The WBC said take the re-match or lose your belt. Lewis decided to retire instead. If Lewis felt he would win the re-match, he's a cinch to take that offer.
