I suppose Joe Joyce would like to be on this list.

The letter J clearly rules the roost.

Which letter has the second most Heavyweight champions? Maybe M?

LOL! I knew the heavyweights were popular here but I didn’t think we would see a thread like this. :yikes:

Anyway, I would pick the M’s as the top guns over the J’s.

    Muhammad Ali
    Mike Tyson
    Rocky Marciano
    Max Schmeling
    Max Baer
    Mike Weaver
    Michael Dokes
    Michael Spinks
    Michael Moorer
    Ray Mercer
    Tommy Morrison
    Oliver McCall
    Marvin Hart
    Oleg Maskaev
    Michael Bentt
    Charles Martin

interestingly, the J vs M dream match (with no fighter qualifying for more than one match) has produced 7 blockbusters with some of the biggest upsets of all time included in those matches. The result is actually a 3-3-1 draw!

    Muhammad Ali vs Joe Frazier
Mike Tyson vs James Buster Douglas
Rocky Marciano vs Jersey Joe Walcott
    Max Schmeling vs Joe Louis
    Marvin Hart vs Jack Johnson
    Max Baer vs Jim Braddock
Mike Weaver vs James Boncrusher Smith
