    OK a little list of heavyweight Champions at the age of 36, who was/is the best at that age and who would win this tournament

    1) Vlad Klitschko is currently 36 but has a dangerous fight coming up (last fight KO'd Tony Thompson

    2) Vitali was retired at 36 but came back at 38 (so we will use that He stopped Sam Peter

    3) Ali was 36 when he lost to Leon Spinks L15

    4) Lennox Lewis was 36 when he was KO'd by Hasem Rahman in 4

    5) Evander Holyfield was 36 when he WD over Vaughn Bean

    6) Jim Jeffries was 36 when he lost to Jack Johnson

    7) Jack Johnson was 36 when he lost to Jess Willard

    8) Joe Louis was 36 when he L15 to Ezzard Charles

    9) Mike Tyson was 36 when he was KO'd in 8 by Lennox Lewis

    10) Larry Holmes was 36 when he lost in 15 vs Michael Spinks

    11) Jersey Joe Walcott was on a 5 bout win streak but lost to Rex Layne but when on to win title next year at 37

    12) Big George Foreman was 38 when he began his comeback vs Steve Zouski, Foreman went on to have a strong career and win a title at 44 but we will use this fight at 38

    In all fairness to Jeffries, he was out for 5 years and lost 100 lbs or so...Vitali was out for 4 years but maintained his weight and came back 2-3 years older.

    I think Jeffries was the worst of age on this list, with Johnson next in line,Ali close behind and Louis and Holmes tied Tyson was still formidable but going fast..Foreman made a comeback at 38 and Evander was starting to slip, I give Evander the lead over Big George here? not sure? and Lewis less worn but slipped badly vs Rahman but a strong comeback KO over HR...Vitali Strong comeback at 38 and Vlad looking very strong at 36

    How do you rank this group and who wins this

    Lewis, Wlad, Holyfield, Vitali are head and shoulders above here

    A good addition would be Harry Wills who was 36 against Firpo

    A few corrections:

    * Lennox was 35 against Rahman 1, he was 36 in Rahman 2 and against Tyson, 37 against Vitali

    *Tyson was 35 against Lewis, 36 against Ettiene

    * Johnson 37 against, 36 against Moran

    * Jeffries 35 against Johnson

    Lewis was 36 in RAHMAN 2 and Tyson.

    So if you wanna be non-bias you must take the Rahman 2/Tyson version of Lewis.

    But damn, this sure does show how much wear and tear Lewis had already on his body. Just look at his resume by age 37.

    Jesus christ man.. I can't believe Lewis tko6 Vitali at age 37 despite all the wars and all that wear and tear.. Truly a feat of achievement.

    Particularly with the quality of the challengers he is accepting.
