I have moved Lufcrazy and Hhascup into my all-time p4p ratings of posters.

Can you guys get the other original eight divisions done by this evening? The junior divisions can wait for a couple of days, take your time. (g)

Well, at least my eyes are cleaner thanks to that ghastly last name being censored.

I know it's an adjustment, but I have it on good authority that the site's never been better. I've also been informed that "Rocco Marciano's resume against top ten opponents" is right up there with YouPorn as far as search popularity goes. So, now that Don Penisell's name as been sanitized and robbed of it's fun, that's an entire highway of overstimulation successfully blocked from the wee ones.

Next week: Color gets removed from the site, and the smoking emoticons get edited to smiley faces eating Fun Dip.

Ranked when they fought them... or at some point in their career? Also, how about where they rank in retrospect. Just because they were thought to be a good fighter at the time, doesn't really mean that they were a good fighter at all.

Tyson beat Jesse Ferguson KO6 (should have been WDQ6), James Tillis W10, Mitch Green W10, Marvis Frazier KO1, Jose Ribalta KO10, Alonzo Ratliff KO2, Trevor Berbick KO2, James Smith W12, Pinklon Thomas KO6, Tony Tucker W12, Tyrell Biggs KO7, Larry Holmes KO4, Tony Tubbs KO2, Michael Spinks Ko1, Frank Bruno KO5, Carl Williams KO1, Alex Stewart KO1, Razor Ruddock KO7 and W12, Buster Mathis KO3, Frank Bruno KO3, Bruce Seldon KO1, Frans Botha KO5, Lou Savarese KO1, Brian Nielsen KO7, and Clifford Etienne KO1.

"Good" is such a subjective term, especially when comparing opponents across eras. So, this thread is only listing fighters' opponents who, at one time in their careers, achieved a top 10 ranking. It's one of the most useful threads for seeing heavyweight champs' resumes laid out in one place, along with the one that ranked records vs champs, 1, and 2 ranked contenders.

Superb work, but I think that pre Louis, your rankings have significant errors.

Wlad now 21-2 (16), 22-2 (17) if Mormeck's cruiserweight rating is taken into account.

This cultural shift is of great benefit to Boston Tom.

Cheers bro. These days I'm more interested in the eye test and how good a fighter looks on film.

I ended up doing this resume thing across every division, I have a huge database at home.

This is a great list. Of course, at least in latter days, being in the top 10 often meant you were politically connected rather than good. But great job, man; that must have taken a lot of work.

Is good! I thought Walcott was famous around here for going less than 50.50 with ranked guys?
