What is the best hypothetical route to a belt, for each of the following Heavyweights: Joyce. Usyk. Ruiz. Whyte. Wilder. For example: Wilders best hypothetical route would be: A) Fury beats AJ, Fury vs Wilder III happens, Wilder becomes Undisputed Lineal champ. B)AJ vs Fury doesn't happen, Fury vs Wilder III Happens, Wilder becomes WBC and Lineal Champ.
They all need to get to a mandatory position 1st. I think Usyk (WBO) and Whyte (WBC) are there already. So it's a wait and see approach with what happens with Fury and AJ. If they have signed up for two fights - then we will have to wait until after the first fight to see if any of the bodies strip their titles from the champ.
The IBF ratings are out of hand: https://ibf-usba-boxing.com/index.p...ratingpdf&month=3&year=2021&gender=male&oid=1 That god-like man Charles Martin is in the catbird seat. Him vs Hunter or Ruiz maybe?
Do you think AJ is an easier fight for Wilder? Fury did whoop Wilder twice imo, But wilder "knows" what he's getting with him. I don't think wilder wins against either guy to be fair.
Certainly easier, since he isn't giving up height/reach and AJ is lower endurance so there will be an opening in the later rounds for his shtick to work. He just has to get there intact, which is a problem but not impossible. Lesser fighters have survived.
