So, as you guys can tell by my username, I am an Adamek fan. Most consider his great chin (or cheen haha) to be one of his best assets. It was great for him at LHW and at Cruiser and it held up against a power puncher in Arreola. So, I just want to know where people rank his chin with the rest of the division.

Please post a top 10 list (or atleast top 5) when it comes to the chins of the heavys.

EDIT: I am talking about current heavys (Swarmer :))

    Interesting one... :think

These are some of the best; Vitali, Adamek, Valuev, Chagaev, Arreola, Peter, Liakhovich, Holyfield

I'd say Oliver McCall, Vitaly Klitschko, David Tua, Chris Arreola and Ruslan Chagaev are among the top.

Adamek has a pretty durable beard, but going up to HW won't help his chin. He got buzzed a couple of times vs Arreola, any decent hitting HW could buzz him imo.

Arreola isn't a monster puncher like Wlad but he's a good one so it certainly proved a lot. Adamek definitely has a good chin but think Wlad would hurt him badly and perhaps KO him. Adamek could go the distance with the rest.

IMO, I think Vitali and Chagaev have the top chins. Adamek, Peter, Arreola, Chambers and Thompson all have good ones as well.

Tua has not faced a live puncher in since Rahman in 2003. Hard to judge. Isn't Mccall in jail and retired? :think

Yea McCall and Tua are worth mentioning, but they aren't really a significant part of the division now.

Of course they aren't, but the thread subject has nothing to do with division significance.

Gold Medal: Vitali Klitschko- Never been down. Took clean shots from Lewis and Sanders

Silver Medal: Nicolai Valuev- Never been down. Took clean shot from Haye had never been close to being down before

Bronze Medal: Chris Arreola- Down once from body shot by Walker but withstood the KD with losses to Vitali and Adamek.

all the names mentioned above are proper, I'd like to mention Jason Estrada, who took some powerpunches in Adamek fight, plus he has never been down in 200+ amateur fights and +- 20 professional bouts.

Adamek must have a hell of a mug to take square shots from Arreola and then still box circles around him, and in the process look pretty good against 'mother****in' Shrek'.

Peter of course if not for the ruptured eardrum against McCline he would not have went down,, he took Wlad's and Vitali's best shots and never went down once! Chagaev went down from a straight right from wlad,,Peter ate em all night and at one point shook his head after one of them like that aint ****! He took Masaev's best shot at the end of the 5th round and never flinched!
