It is, to much skills and raw talent right now! I say this is the best heavyweight era ever! Wladimir Klitschko as 1st, so great he's still active. Wilder, Fury as top contenders right now. Jennings, Pulev and Povetkin as previous beaten contenders. Joshua, Parker as superstar talent! Top prospects as Hughie Fury and Dillian Wythe yet to keep on rising! And soon Cuba will release its talents! We will see more Erislandy Savon! And dont forget heavy hitters as Ortiz, Browne, Teper and Helenius lurking around the corner! Heck Chisora's really good figher actually! Edit* David Haye may come out from inactivity soon? And that's just some of the names I really like for the years to come! I want 2 forum sections right now: Heavyweight, and Smaller Weights Just to much to talk about in the heavyweight division these days.
Savons not going anywhere, 1. he is Felix Savons nephew there extremely loyal to cuba and 2. his now able to compete over 12 rounds in APB boxing so less incentive to go pro
Meh, I'm not too excited about the heavyweight scene at the moment. Apart from Wlad and potentially Joshua, I don't see much in that division. I am probably biased in some ways though, I prefer skill and finesse over power and athleticism many a time and that's more common in the lower weight classes.
the best talent is still in the amatuers imo ,Medzhidov,Omarov,Joyce,Nistor,Dychko,Hrgovic,Pheifer,Toirac,Egorov, tishcenchko, dychko, savon, pinchuk
This video speaks the truth: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvgndQ2NEjE Insane depth, skill in the division! I would never turn back the clock if I could..
