Oh man, tell me about it. The casual fans listened to everything Haye/our biased media said about Wlad and Vitali. I wonder will those bitches get back to watching football now? How many will watch Vitali vs Adamek I wonder. They dont even realise how differnt the brothers fight.

Atleast Wlad won :good humble pie! Wlad has made a lot of fans, ****, he's the hw champ and his first interviews on Brit tv were because he was fighting a Brit fighter.

That's not right. No way. Everyone should know who the hw champ is.

History has shown and proven that the best condition for international boxing is a healthy US boxing environment.
Not saying that there is no room for champions other than American, but on the leading edge, the champion must be American.

    Why?

    Simple. Innovation!
All of today's boxing elements are the direct result of the sport's evolution due to US induced innovations. In fact, European fighters are merely less talented imitations of US and Mexican fighters.
I believe Europeans take this GAP in US domination much too seriously. They've been whopped for 150 years and now that the US in in a boxing recession, they are so excited that they actually believe the brief moment in the Sun is going to last indefinitely. It won't. It's a fluke, and very much, temporary.
In the meantime, take note of how very far US/Mexican fighters even think about imitating the Klits, as the Klits attempt to imitate American fighters. Absolutely no fighter wishes to pattern their boxing technique after either Klit, except maybe Russians.

Eastern Europe always had great fighters, but they were amateur fighters. There is pro boxing in eastern Europe almost 20 years structures are building. Europe will have as many great fights and great fighters as USA soon.

Not just the iron curtain but up until the 90's in many of the scandinavian countries pro boxing was illegal........So boxing had a very shallow talent pool in the past.

Athletes in the states get better offers (college scholarships, etc.) at an early age to go into basketball, football, and baseball. These are billion dollar a year industries that are very well managed, and loved by all—especially football.

The decline of the great American heavyweight is permanent in my opinion.
