Great post. :good I'm just like you, I appreciate boxers regardless of where they're from. It's a shame how many people out there hate on the Klitschko brothers. In my opinion they're great for the sport and I wish more fighters were gentlemen like they are. I'm def looking forward to the Vitali vs. Adamek fight. :D

    Dear dave-slave
    kind regards
I think that it is irrelevant whether a boxer can speak English, but can he deliver?
The Klitschko's can deliver and they have the right kind of look to be successful.
My work collegue took me to the pub to watch the fight on Saturday and he said that Wladimir Klitschko (who he hadn't seen before) looked like Drago from the Rocky Movie.
Lets face it, Wladimir has charisma, looks good and can box so I think that the press will except them on that value.
    yours thankfully
    John

as am i friend..i think adamak will do great but vitali will just edge it..we have to realise vitali is getting old he isnt the force what he used to be..which surly gives adamak at least a good chance..im still picking vitali tho.im just thinking it will be harder than most people think

I agree it'll be a competitive fight b/c Vitali turns 40 very soon and is not as fast and as powerful as he used to be. Now if this was in his prime he would demolish Adamek, but since he's gotten much slower it will be more competitive and Adamek will def land some shots. But I'm sure you'll agree that unless there's an injury, Vitali will def not get knocked out. I also give Vitali the edge, but Vitali knows he only has a few fights left due to his age. If Vitali beats Adamek in good fashion, I'd love to see him fight Haye, b/c unlike Wlad, Vitali would throw a lot of punches and truly try to hurt Haye. Funy how Haye says he "has no beef" with Vitali and Vitali said that he wants to send Haye to the floor. I think Haye was always scared of fighting Vitali....

Yet another ******ed post by thepresident.

Anti-anything not american attitudes are what make people dislike your country so much. Do you really believe that only Americans are capable of being truly talented champions?

Does it not occur to you that other countries can get their **** together by getting great trainers, taking sport more seriously by time, effort, funding etc.? Just look at how well China did at the 2008 Olympics. It's pathetic to use this US sport recession excuse and not even ponder the idea that anyone else could simply just be catching up.

US innovations in boxing aren't exclusive to US fighters, and despite no one imitating the K bros they're destroying all your precious fat ******* US HW's.

The world doesn't revolve around the ****ing USA.

'Fans' of boxing and the boxing media do more damage to the sport constantly claiming 'the division is dead' than the Klitschkos could ever do. Klitschko-Haye was the #1 and #3 guys fighting eachother. Klitschko-Adamek is the #2 and #4 guys fighting. Povetkin and Chagaev are arguably the #5 and #6 best heavyweights, and they're fighting each other. How many other divisions have the top 6 fighters fighting each other in the same year?

Exactly! It all comes down to the media and some fans not liking "Who" the #1 and #2 are....

It's the media's fault. All I can tell you is the British media don't care about boxing unless they have a fighter involved. I think it's the same for the American media.

When the media tells people the hw division is dead , people believe it. Most people accept what the media tells them.

It's actually a very sad and even scary thing.
