dumb****s try to say the 80's were worst than today, I'm sorry I've never seen so many undeserving guys show up overweight in title fights, Peter, Toney, Sanders etc. No wonder boxing is dying this **** is a joke.

It it's garbage , why are ou watching it ? Better question , wouldn't it be easier for you (as a viewer ) to simply ignore it instead of imposing a general ban for everybody else ?

I'm one of those dumb****s actually. The 80's weren't anything special. I'd argue that no era can really claim a superiority over another. It all boils down to pure & simple favoritism. The 80's wasn't better , but the same can be said about the 90's too , and even the 70's. (even though it's supposed to be the "golden era" ).. All eras had their ups and downs. Not just this one.

Tonight's fight, while pathetically fought by Peter, showed a precise, powerful performance by Vitali.

It's pretty sad when a guy can comeback after 4 years of injuries and takeout a guy ranked 2 in the world, his first fight back. Props to Vitali, but the division is even worse than I originally thought.

We could also argue that it's pretty sad that a + 45 year old past prime & slow Foreman was able to KO a younger Moorer...And the guy certainly wasn't in Couture shape in his 40's either...And that was in the 90's...We can select any era and find weak points here and there. Not just this one. Again , it all boils down to favoritism.

 condolonces punisher....what r your thoughts on Peter? Can he come back? I still think he can be a top 5 guy if doesn't lose heart and dumps King and Gotzev. We know he still has an iron chin

Did u lose even more respect for Wlad? :D

Foreman was getting killed the whole night, but found a way to land that big punch towards the end of the fight, **** happens. Vitali systematically beat down his oppenent every ****ing round, Foreman did not do that, he knocked out an undersized Heavyweight in Moorer, while losing big, thats the difference.

I think Haye will be a force, I mean Peter has nothing at all.

:| Sad night indeed, I believe I have to sport an avatar as well, of your choosing. I know I had you sport one a couple times, you finally got me.

Peter had an horrible performance, the only thing that impressed me tonite was chin, but his heart failed him in the end. He will be back, but I hope he gets a new training team and takes a slow rode back to the top, he has alot more learning to do.

I respect every fighter, I just dont like Wlads style, and I feel his very far away from what a dominant Heavyweight should be, his brother on the other hand, is an amazing fighter in the ring, even better than what I thought, I wish him the best and pray he doesnt have anymore injuries in the next couple years, he's a great leader for the division.

Like i said earlier. It's pure and simple favoritism. Foreman was a slowish , 45 year old who ended up KOing a younger Moorer.
No matter the circumstances. It happened. Knowing that , all the **** talking people are giving for today's era is pure hypocrisy. (aka favoritism).

For instance , it is normal for a Tyson fan to **** on today's era and to find "qualities only". It can be labeled as favoritism , but i'd also argue that it isn't automatically hypocrisy. There's also something we call "blind fanboyism".

People love to think that for instance , Joe Louis would school anyone today (even though he wouldn't be classified as a HW by today's standards)...

It's normal. After a certain period of time , ex-champs gain a certain legendary , god-like status...People tend to be like that. You can't blame them for it.

Well, you are dumbass that claimed Sam Peter was such a great fighter. Vitali beats his ass all over the ring, now you claim they both suck. Do yourself a favor and STFU.

Show me the post where I called Peter great, I said he was good. As far as me saying Vitali sucks, read a couple of my posts in other threads, I said he amazing and the best in the division, think before you post.
