    im just saying.... imagine if these guys were boxers..

    i think if they were trained from a young age they would be some of the most devestating hw's alive... just based on their size strength & explosion... so i thought it would be a fun thread..

    i would take stone cold being he's more aggresive and brett hart (rip) is more of a finesse guy... but save that for another thread please.. trying to stay on topic

    I know, I know... the NBA and boxing just don't mix well in my head. :smoke

    Outside of that mess in Indiana a few years ago, I can't remember the last decent "altercation" I saw in the Association. Hockey has basketball beat here hands down.

    you obviously have a bad imagination

    IF LEBRON JAMES & DWIGHT HOWARD WERE TRAINED IN BOXING TECHNIQUE FROM A YOUNG AGE LIKE MOST OF BOXING SUPERSTARS TODAY

    AND I GAVE YOU THEIR STYLES & RECORDS

    WHAT WOULD BE THE RESULT IN YOUR IMAGINATION IF THEY FOUGHT!

    damn....

    Klittites need someone who would actually generate respect.

    The rest of us just want to see an interesting title fight.

    what do you mean you guys....

    just because the current heavyweight champs are not from America doesnt mean that were hating on the heavyweight division for that reason....

    the hw division has sucked for the last 5-7 years.... the klits ARE BORING

    pavlik = excitement
    hatton = excitement
    pacman = excitement
    floyd = excitement
    cotto = excitement

    it doesnt have anything to do with color, location, race, nationality.... its just are you fun to watch or are you not fun to watch....

    the klits are boring

    Hold on a minute here. I know your all laughing at WWM but here is a great point. We have LeBron James at 6'8" 250+ and Howard at 6'10.5" 265 - 270 pounds and they play pro basketball. Notice this! Both of these men seem to have more speed and quickness (esp. James) and coordination then any HW's that are over 6'7" and 250 pounds excluding the Klitschko's. It pisses me off that alot of the giant HW's of today and the past are getting / have gotten some big fights and big paydays when their athletisicm is poor. I know the X-Factor here is chin, but other then the fact that we have no clue if James or Dwight can take a punch these guys would look very impressive in the sport of boxing. I feel the same about Mark Callaway (The Undertaker of the WWF/WWE). He is a legit 6'9" - 300 pounds and he spars in his spare time. The man is very fast, coordinated and looks great boxing. If he has a decent chin I say he KO's all the top giant HW's excluding the Klitschko's. Bottom line is the athletisicm of alot of todays BBall players and other Pro Sports are far superior to the large HW's of today.

    - Lebron James W UD 12 Dwight Howard (7-4-1) with 2 knockdowns for Howard, 1 for James.

    Wlad Klits skill and style, although boring, would be to much for the slow and plodding Dwight Howard. He would easliy out box him while avoiding all of his power shots. Expect a late TKO for Wlad in this one. Didnt you see last year when Howard fought old *ss James Toney, he was almost completely out worked and out boxed. I thought it was a gift decision for Howard simply because hes an HBO fighter and signed with Don King, but what do I know.

    Vitali Klits simply KOs the soft punching, china chinned Lebron James. I know everyone remembers him barely escaping the Tony Thompson WBA title eliminator fight a few months back. James is skilled big time, but he suffers from the Wlad complex of not having the best chin, although Id rate Wlads slightly better. The only difference is James doesnt hit as hard. Id see the first 4 or 5 rounds going to James because of his skill and agility but once Vitali lands its over. Vitali fights from awkward angles and could catch James, plus James is no threat to his chin. Mid rounds KO for Vitali.

    Beside just go to boxrec and check these James and Howards resumes, theyve been spoon feed bums their whole careers thats how they got the records they have. Theyve never really faced any real contenders so its hard to say who wins this one. James is china chinned but Howard can easily be out worked. Humm...

    Final prediction, James UD

    Its ok America, youll find a good HW someday, just hang in there lol
