This would just create a new cruiserweight division

No I don't think so. All of the Klitscko's losses came by smaller men. None were in these Titanweights. But I do like how Titanweight sounds, but no need of a heavier.division. What we do need are simply better heavyweights. I know in the past I've said the division sucks and I take it back. It doesnt suck, but its not as great as when Lewis, Holy, and Tyson reigned.Old fat Lewis already proved he was able to best Vitali in his prime. Lesser fighters have beaten the Klits its just been awhile because the comp is mediocre. That's the problem.

Once the Klitsckos retire will heavyweight still be dominated by the biggest men? Probably not. There always been big heavies. The Klitschkos just happen to be really good and happen to be really big.

people should know.. the higher you go in weight, the less the difference in weight matters...

    for instance

a guy weighing 140lb vs. a guy weighing 110 lb.. is a much bigger difference

then a guy weighing 200 lb vs. a 250lb guy

I really don't understand the position of people happy with the division as is.

Do you guys really expect the likes of Boystov and Chakkiev to get in the ring with Fury and Price?

Yes, there have always been big guys. But there is a new generation of 'skilled' big guys that have the advantage over skilled smaller guys.

Out of all the heayweights how many good fighters would there be fighting above 230 lbs?

How many heavies would have to fight above 230 lbs? Most would easily make the 230 lbs weight limit.

The 230+ division would have very little dept simply because there are not that many fighters around that are that big that would have to fight at 230+ lbs.

For me it is sim0le; Go back to the original eight weightclasses plus Cruiserweight. Also making fighters weigh in the day of the fights would be better for all concerned. This will never happen because of the money factor in a professional sport.

Probably why amateur boxing, Olympic weightlifting, Judo and both forms of wrestling have recently shaved off weightclasses to impove the efficiency and lessen the minutia of their respective sports. Again far easier to do with sports that are amateur by definition.

  9. So it wasnt interesting to see smaller guys beat the **** out of the bigger guys and prove that it could be done?

need to eliminate a few of the lower weight classes obviously. what to do about super hw is a tougher one. the klits are tall and athletic, but they come in at 240-245 (so it's not like their 265lb monsters). there currently aren't many athletic and skilled guys their size, so they have a size advantage over many but at least for now there ought to be some natural 220lbers (tho weighing 240 or more) who should be able to compensate with speed and skill - but there aren't. it's because there are a dirth of skilled athletic hws right now. so u cannot create a new division just for the kilts (the other huge men worth mentioning like helenius, valuev are obviously beatable by less than awesome smaller men). if there happen to be an influx of more than a couple at a time of 6'5 athletic skillled hw's than something would have to be done. As it stands, I'd eliminate a few of the bull**** 5lb weight classes and figure out a way to stretch cruiser to 210 to hopefully attract more talent there especially from smallish hws

we walk the streets at night
    we go where eagles dare
    they pick up every movement
    they pick up every loser
    with jaded eyes and features
    you think they really care?

    i ain't no goddamn son of a *****
you better think about it baby
    i ain't no goddamn son of a *****
you better think about it baby, babe

an omelet of disease awaits your noontime meal
her mouth of germicide seducing all your glands

    i ain't no goddamn son of a *****
you better think about it baby
    i ain't no goddamn son of a *****
you better think about it baby, babe

let's test your threshold of pain
let's see how long you last
    that's happened in your ****
    on bosoms of your past

    with jaded eyes and features
    you think they really care
    let's go where eagles dare

  12. Why would any top level operator fear getting in the ring with Fury?
