Because you're from London? :rofl Vitali fought 3 times winning 2 by knockout. He gets my vote. Wladimir would be 2nd since he only fought once.
He's generally a good poster buy barely beating Valuev doesn't rank higher than Vitali utterly dominating 3 legit heavies and probably losing 1 or 2 rounds total for the 3 fights combined.
What I dont get is how Valuev was the biggest bum at the weight and then when Haye beats him he suddenly more credible.
Vitali 1 with 3 good defenses. Wlad at 2 for winning the Ring HWT title the first in 5 years. Haye in 3rd by taking a belt. Chambers at 4 for moving up the ladder vs Peter and Dimitrenko and Povetkin at 5 for being avtive waiting for his title shot down the road making improvements in every fight and improving his corner for the fight.
That would be fair since Chambers has 2 good wins & Wlad & Haye only have 1 each. Even so, I'd think Wlad TKOing Chagaev is better than Haye barely beating Valuev. Better competition & better, more decisive result. Wlad also won the Ring title with that win. 1. Vitali 2. Chambers 3. Wladimir 4. Haye
by far Vitali. 3 defences., then Chambers, then Wlad, then Haye. IMO I put Wlad above Haye for beating the #3 guy Chagaev and winning the RING title. While Haye did win a belt.. he also RAN from the 2 best HW's...IMO that hurts his win over Valuev as best of 2009
Exactly. Perspective people................Valuev wasn't considered the 2nd or 3rd best Heavy even though he technically had a belt, he lost to Chagaev who Wladimir completely dominated and TKO'd.
