    Name a better figter who was willing to fight him? Vitali fought everyone he could have, he also tried in vain to fight the pretender Haye

    Very true Wlad made Chagaev look ridiculous.......as if he didn't even belong in the ring.:good

    It has to be Eddie Chambers beating Samuel Peter and Alexander Dimitrenko. And if it wasn't for Wladimir being injured Chambers would of beaten Wladimir too.

    Wladimir did win the ring belt but he only had the 1 fight.

    Haye did win a belt, if only barely

    Chambers had the best year of HW contenders

    1. Vitali for obvious reasons and that's not debatable
    2./3. Wlad or Chambers - matter of taste (Wlad had only one fight but Chagaev is the best win of any guy on that list had, Chambers had 2 good wins but against guys who are a step below Chagaev)
    4. Haye (won a close fight in boring fashion against Valuev who was beaten much more decisively by Chagaev, so there is no way he can be placed higher)
