Heavyweight power (scale 1 to 10)

    Well most professional boxers who knows how to throw a punch.
    A random 270 lbs. man is overwhelmingly a very fat non-athlete who woul not have the power of most light hitting HWs.

    Yes, that is what I have been getting at in my points. Fury is a skilled boxer and is an extremally large man so his punches will hurt but p4p he's nothing to get excited about power wise and would be viewed as feather fisted at a lower weight class. Even in the last fight it took quite an effort to finally put Wilder down. Thus I would not list him among the top power punchers in this HW scale of OPs.

    I agree with all that, except that since his weight is not that dramatically more than the average, today quite large HW, & he still hits harder than an average GW-at least since getting Kronk-inized & sitting down on his punches...
    He would not be a very light hitter scaled down proportionately, but no more than average.
    Especially since he would lose body fat to fight effectively in a division with weight limits.
