I agree, but Prizefighter isn't really for boxing fans, it's for casuals with short attention spans channel-flicking on a Saturday night so Hearn will go for names they may have heard of regardless of their value.
This is another reason Prizefighter pisses me off, he is using valuable tv dates to cater for people that don't give two blind ****s about real boxing, and Eddie can't spin the line about it bringing new fans to the sport because that circus is nothing like proper boxing. Honestly I have seen a better standard of fighting between two people in a field having a good old fashioned straightener. Eddie Hearn the saviour of boxing????? yeah right.
Kudos to Rogan for getting signed by Hearn at the age of 41- clearly this means he won't be fighting on the Frampton card.
It`s the lead in to Brook-Alexander so i don`t have a problem with it hopefuly there will now be a bit of a gap to the next one.Audley getting another chance is a joke through and doesn`t help the credabilty of the sport.
I still would prefer no Prizefighter at all to be honest, it does soften the blow a bit having it on the same night as Brook I will concede but it's still Prizefighter and as long as it exists I won't be happy.
Fair enough mate,it`s not for everyone.I do think it`s getting stale and if Hearn does have to it for the casuals, it should be around once every 3 months.
It's a four rounder so I doubt it will be anyone remotely dangerous. Rogan has an outside chance of winning the whole thing as before if he avoids a tough draw in the first round.
People take prizefighter far too seriously. Audley is always entertaining if nothing else. Walker is a good addition.
