It's too early to tell but I think his future is bright.

I'm not going to say he reminds me of anyone in particular, but I do like Hamer a lot. I actually think his closest comps are non-heavyweights, and he reminds me somewhat of Bernard Hopkins. He's not the quickest guy in the world, but he has very good fundamentals, and he has about as good of footwork for any heavyweight prospect I've seen in a while, so hopefully he can develop the stamina and shows he has the beard to compete as a pro. Just about everything else is there, other than size.

I like Tor a lot. Super smart guy; really well educated and was a hell of a good boxer, did great at the Golden Gloves this year.

He also trains at Gleason's Gym in New York and reminds of Floyd Patterson.

This isn't necessarily what impressed me most, but I heard he knocked some guy's teeth out at the GGs, even though his mouthpiece was still in. Not sure whether that's common at all, but I haven't heard of it too much before. I suspect that means he'll have enough power to compete as a pro.

Hopefully he has a better chin than Patterson. Even though he recovered well, I don't know how well Patterson would have fared against the modern crop of supersized heavyweights.

It's pretty uncommon. Fernando Guerrero, the 2007 US National Champion at 165 knocked a guy from my region's tooth out, they had to stop the fight because of it. All I know is that Tor beat Lenroy Thompson in the finals of the Gloves to avenge what I think was one of his only losses at the Nationals.

Guererro is hot **** too. I like him a lot more than some guys who are more highly touted prospects.

i'm seeing pieces of peek-a-boo, double uppercuts, very specific jabs and a lot of bobbing and weaving. two guys in particular come to mind and they were both trained by and old italian guy.
