James McKenzie Morrison looks closes to his father looks wise and style wise and chin wise as well. I think he will get further than Trey Lippe.

Yep. Dinu is the best 'Unknown" HW is the sport, but he's been managed horribly, and is now starting get a bit old. I fear he'll never get his shot.

He's been a fulltime pro for about 4-5 years now. He quit his day job (he was a cop, or something, in Romania) when he signed with GYM, but then theydid squat with him. He KO'd every opponent they put in front of him, but they never even got him on the televised main events. It's like they were hiding him in the closet.

Now he's back in Romania, and had some really bad breaks with small title fights getting canceled due to injuries & such.

Demerizen looks to be Chisora level. A future gatekeeper if ever I saw one.

    Don't know much about Joyce.

He is actually in US right now, he has relocated there on the permenant basis and has signed a deal with US promoter.

It's really hard to say which of the two can go farther. Regarding JMM's most recent fight - a 1st round KO over Galen Brown isn't really meaningful/impressive any more. Brown has been slipping since about 2012 - and what was left of his chin got obliterated by Zhilei Zhang in late-2016 (I was there to see it happen).

Supposedly JMM is more off a boxer, but TLM has the heavier hands. Neither has been tested yet and TLM's hands/wrists are already on borrowed time.

I think Efe Ajagba is making a very strong case for himself as a "can't-miss" prospect.

Ajagba became the first fighter to actually stop Rodney Hernandez. If you haven't heard of Hernandez - I recommend you spend a moment to quickly review his record on BoxRec to get an idea of the fighters who *have not* been able to stop him.

I would really like to see Joe Joyce up against a guy like Niall Kennedy (who I have seen fight twice).

Kennedy moves very, very well for his size, has pretty quick hands, and targets the body extremely well. He was able to stand up to some pretty big shots from Alexis Santos, too, so I don't see anything obviously wrong with Niall's chin.

If Kennedy were to survive Joe's "initial onslaught" - I think he'd have a real shot to go to work on Joe's body and break him down. And he can make Joyce miss, too. Kennedy is definitely a deep-water fighter; we've yet to see Joyce go there (Lewison was drowning by about Rd 5 against Joe).

Right now Kennedy seems content to defend his New England belt - but he's 34/35 - so Niall hasn't got that long of a window. I'm sure he'd take this fight.

I'm convinced that fight would tell us a lot about Joe Joyce - but I'm equally sure that David Haye isn't going to take any chances with Joyce. He's probably only 3-4 fights away from getting a voluntary for Joshua (Richard Lartey->David Allen->Manuel Charr seems like a good/safe progression), anyhow.

Rahman Jr was in trouble a couple times against Ronnie Hale (fight is on YT). I suspect a guy like Terrell Jamal Woods could stop him.

Well they certainly aren't hurrying Dychko along, are they? Ivan's next fight is against Michael Marrone and Marrone hasn't been a serious boxer since 2011 when he stepped down to CW and got stopped by Guillermo Jones. If that Dychko-Marrone fight goes >2 minutes; I'll be surprised.

Dychko is only 28 - so he has time. But he also has lots of good experience in the amateurs and is fairly-well known - so it would be reasonable to fast-track him.

Decent list - but I'd take George Arias off of it.

Arias had a difficult time with Tyrelll Wright in April. Wright isn't a bad fighter (you can see him in action against Dan Pasciolla on YT) - but I doubt he's moving beyond the club/regional level. I suspect lots of people were rating Arias because of his stoppages of Mario Heredia and Juan Goode. That's not enough for me. Heredia's poor fitness is well-known, and he already seems a bit punchy from his stoppages by Fedosov & Rice (twice). Juan Goode's reputation seems to wholly rely on his fight against Zhilei Zhang - where Zhang looked inexplicably bad.

I've watched some footage of Arias. The man can unquestionably move. But a lot of that motion looks wasted to me and I suspect that Wright probably figured him out.

I can't go along with "ten fights or less." It's more about years as a pro, and / or level of competition.

If we're talking prospects, not young contenders, (So no Rivas, Ugonoh, etc) then my list would be this:

    Best of the best:

    Bogdan Dinu
    Otto Wallen.
    Martin Bakole Llunga
    Trey Lipp Morrison.
    -------------------

Slightly less promising, but definitely in the mix:

    Jermaine franklin
    George Arias
    Daniel Dubious
    Darmani Rock
    Tyrone Spong
    -------------------

    Not sure yet:

    Fillip Hrgovic
    Nick Asberry
    Adam Kownacki
    -------------------

    OVERHYPED:

    Jarell Miller
    Sergey Kuzmin
    Agit Kabayel
    Junior Fa
