watching the Ali v Shavers fight last nite and it showed a list of the top 10 heavyweight punchers at that time ofcourse. 1. Shavers Won 54 KO 52 0.963 2. Foreman Won 44 KO 41 0.932 3. Marciano Won 49 KO 43 0.878 4. Frazier Won 32 KO 27 0.843 5. Dempsey Won 62 KO 51 0.822 6. Liston Won 50 KO 39 0.780 7. Louis Won 68 KO 53 0.779 8. Carnera Won 86 KO 66 0.767 9. Patterson Won 55 KO 40 0.727 10. Ali Won 54 KO 37 0.685 Anyone got an up-to-date list? Thanks.
Well, unless we're talking champs, Lamar Clark should be there (back in 1977 list). Up to date would include Bruno, Wald and Vitali.
Thanks - yeah Clark is interesting. Must be a list for world title fighters. Clark's last fight was against Clay/Ali in his 6th fight winning by KO 2. Clark had a record of 42 wins 2 losses at the time so a good win for a young Clay.
Foreman went below Marciano because of his comeback fights in the 90's, so as far as Lineal champs Marciano is number 1. Shavers is perhaps still number 1??
Lennox Lewis would be 0.780 Tyson would be 0.880 Holyfield 0.640 Bruno would be 0.950 A bit unfair as Holyfield Tyson and Bruno have been beaten much more than the like of marciano, Forman or Lewis
Well perhaps, but in regards to Tyson he lived and died by the glove so to speak in the ring. Outside of Holyfiled 2, all his other losses was by ko.

Campbell is Baer's work. Schaaf is often credited as Baer's kill but i don't see why. He was fine for over half a year afterwards and even went through several professional fights without big problems. Whether those opponents were mediocre or not, they still hit him. Perhaps something was wrong with him going into the Carnera fight, but i don't see why it should be related to the Baer fight. Who did he kill in sparring?
