I'd be interested in hearing how you have Chisora ahead of Helenius and Fury. In each case, would that be based on accomplishment or head-to-head ?
There definitely is a valid argument to rank him below Helenius and Fury. I'm ranking him above because of his good performance yesterday. Above Helenius basically because I scored that fight clearly for Chisora. And that fight, plus his performance against #1 Vitali, puts him above Fury. However, that is debatable and I might change it, depending on other arguments.
I would call that a bit of an understatement. Based on one performance ? One where he lost 10-2 or 11-1 to an injured man old enough to be his dad ? A gutsier performance than most of Vitali's previous victims, but it should be kept in perspective. Helenius has a much stronger resume, and undefeated Tyson's clear win over Chisora is better than anything Chisora (1-4 in his last three outings) has managed so far. These matters are subjective, but IMO, Chisora is far too high on your list. Haye, Chambers, Povetkin, Adamek and Dimitrenko would all be easy to justify above him. Probably others too.
I won't rate Chambers or Mormeck cause they haven't fought in over a year. Haye is in there as it doesn't look like he'll stay retired. 1. Wlad Klitschko 2. Vitali Klitschko 3. Povetkin 4. Haye 5. Thompson 6. Chisora 7. Helenius 8. Adamek 9. Arreola 10. Pulev 11. Huck 12. Chagaev 13. Dimitrenko 14. Fury 15. Ustinov 16. Boytsov 17. Solis 18. Lawrence 19. Stiverne 20. Mitchell
Chisora shouldn't be in the top ten. Heart is not enough to get it done. - And hard to know where to put Solis, since he really WAS injured in his last fight. Mitchell should be up there with Chagaev & Dimintrenko. Boytsov, as much as I like him, has done NOTHING to crack the top 30. Same fpr Wilder, even though I think he may be the future champ.
Boystov has at least beaten Pala (better than any of Mitchell's wins). And he certainly moves alot better than Mitchell. I was skeptical about Chisora but he confirmed enough last night for me to put him ahead of Adamek and Helenius.
Even if that's true how the hell do you justify a top 10 ranking? Wins over Harrison and Ruiz earn him that? Haye's mouth have people ranking him top 10, he needs to accomplish something for that designation. Ditto Chambers who hasnt done anything for like 2 years
Going the distance with Wlad (something Chambers, Chagaev, Thompson, ect, ect, ect couldnt do) Beating Valuev Beatng Ruiz Beating Harrison Beating Monte And having been cruiser king I dont put huge stock into his wins over harrison, ruiz, and monte, but him being cruiser king, moving up and beating valuev, then lasting the distance with wlad is more then most in the division right now can boast. So just out of curiousity id like to see the 10 guys youd rank ahead of Haye.
