No, Helenius ACTUALLY had a bad arm, he didn't just use it as an excuse. Jeez, do you seriously need this explained to you? A Healthy Helenius would have put Chisora to sleep.
Anything in particular you disagree with or are just going to spout gibberish like a 12 year old school girl?
When ranking heavies, I don't think you can completely discount Haye's record 2007-09. That's when he established himself as a champ and won his belts. Haye was not inactive (for a top heavy). He continued to fight and won fights impressively, in addition to doing better against Wlad than most. Looking over the list of names... Arreola-well he lost to Adamek in 2010 and since then his only half-way decent wins are Abell and Quezada, and he didn't look good in either of those fights. He's doing better now but he's nowhere near Haye's level. Thompson-Not a very active fighter. By your 2 year criteria he's only beaten Harris and Beck, plus a win over Witherspoon in 2009. So I don't see how he gets ranked over Haye either. Helenius-I'd rank him ahead of Haye if he hadn't clearly lost to Dereck Chisora. His recent wins (Peter, Liakovitch) are not much better than Ruiz. Haye would be heavily favored to take him. Adamek-Got destroyed by Klitschko and hasn't looked impressive since the Arreola fight. Maybe he still deserves to be ranked ahead of Haye, but after VK few are taking him over Haye h2h. Chagaev-Some decent wins in the last years but he hasn't looked impressive in them. I can't understand how one would sincerely rate him over Haye. Pulev-He's on a very nice run but none of these wins constitute a breakthrough like beating SNV and winning a paper title. Walker was a good win but I'm not going to rank him ahead of former champ Haye who went 12 with Wlad. Chisora-May have an argument for being ranked ahead of Haye but onth has officially lost 3 out of his last 4.
idk why thompson/chambers/haye are ranked and or so high... chisora should be on everyone's list, the guy has proved that while in shape he is a worthy challenger, unlike almost all of the others on the list...
Good post.....and I'd like to add Arreola to the list of non deserving contender status. Both Arreola and Boystov are the most called out fighters in the top 30. I think they get more offers than the rest combined. It seems every time a fringe contender or Blevel fighter wins a fight, they mention wanting Arreola or Boystov. Yet, with all those guys wanting them, they still choose the Gaverns and the Molinas as their opponents for climbing the rankings. And why is Gavern considered such a stud anyway.....Malcomb Tann, a complete bum clowned him and then all but retired knowing he would never be world class.:-(
Dimitrenko is a KO waiting to happen, but you can't talk down his LOC.....Michael Sprott is the UK version of Monte Barrett, and Chambers is America's #1-3 HW. He was competitve with Chambers and it was his only loss. Boystov....he's a bum....not because he can't fight, but b/c, like Arreola, has dozens of other name HWs he could fight, but continually chooses unranked journeymen to climb the ladder. :-(
So? Just because he's begging for a fight doesn't mean he's gonna get one and there's a good chance the BBoC won't give him a license after the press conference debacle. Then got shut out and stopped by Wlad, fought a B level guy after that and hasn't fought in a year. atsch I'm not saying he's not top 20, I'm asking why he is above Chisora? Those wins happened a while ago. Meanwhile, Chisora has an unofficial victory over helenius and a competitive loss to Vitali. Fury's victory over Chisora is better than anything Dimitrenko has done in the ring. What the fuk has he done since getting sonned by Chambers?
I still can't leave him out, it's only a matter of months since he last fought. Chambers still has a good record all the same, in fairness there isn't really much between Adamek, Chambers and Haye, you could argue and put them in a slightly different order. Basically down to me having Chisora well outside of the top 50 prior to facing Helenius while Helenius was I think 6th on my list then. I knocked Helenius down a few places while Chisora shot up a considerable amount, around 40 places, just not quite enough to be ranked ahead of the Finn. He has time on his side to overtake him. I would say Dimitrenko's victory over prime Sosnowski is better than Fury's over the 20 stone version of Chisora.
