I like watching him fight, because something will always happend.. but c'mon......

This is exactly why people are staying away from boxing, american football, baseball, soccer and even MMA is more appealing on this **** alone.

What the heck is up with the IBF and the "not rated" slot?
Is there a boxer who steppes outside for a smoke, and they are saving that spot for when he gets back?
Couldn't you just bump up everyone under that slot?

IBF is way corrupted, they're probably saving that slot for Golota in case he loses the rematch to Austin.

I had a look. First of all, I like that they do not automatically rate their own champion as no. 1. That is a sympathic move.

However, the lists are quite flawed. Can anyone for example explain the SMW rankings?

    http://www.iboboxing.com/rankings/168.html

    Kessler no. 2 WTF?

    Lacy no. 3 WTF?????????

Mads Larsen no. 44 WTFFFFFFFFF???????????????????????? Talk about corruption. Mads Larsen has never really lost in more than 50 fights. One controversial fight with Ottke in Germany and one cut to a no-hoper in round two in the UK. Apart from that he has won all his fights and has beaten several fighters that the IBO ranks higher than Mads. His nxt fight is against Lucien Bute for the world title. IBO is waaaaay off here.

Give MMA some time, a decade or two, and it will have as many significant sanctioning bodies as Boxing. Where there's money, there's corruption - and a hell of a lot of people wanting a slice of the pie. That's just the way the world turns. MMA is in its infancy, more or less, but it will develop as Boxing has in this way.

I'm FAR more outraged that the WBA still ranks this glorified clubfighter, despite the years of blatant excessive holding and faked low blows and other bogus shenanagans.

    Now, THAT's outrageous.
