    Top tier punchers didn’t do anything to him. Not even as a very, very fat middleweight. So if I had to guess probably not the guys who Toney will see winding up a mile away, Shavers, Foreman and Ruddock etc. I’m tipping the boys like Tyson, Frazier and Marciano could for various reasons that I don’t care enough to explain. Because I’m a Chadasauraus-Rex.

    Big hitting pressure fighters would get him out of there in one way or another. Guys like Frazier aren't going to give a flying **** about what Toney is putting back and will start to really kick the **** out of him after about 3. Toney was extraordinarily tough (mentally as well as physically) and savvy but there are limits.

    I'd put money on Ali getting him out of there too. He's perfect for Ali.

    Frazier is a good shout, cause he's willing to get in close and receive in order to land. Not to mention the constant pressure.
    Ali not so much, he doesn't really enjoy to brawl and Toney's gonna make him miss a lot. Doubt Ali can KO Toney.

    Lennox and prime Mike Tyson maybe. Toney had a granite chin, and the times he was knocked down he got up instantly. I don't ever see him getting stopped by one shot, it would have to be a barrage of punches

    Joe Louis gets him out of there. I'd bet on Mike Tyson too.

    Someone like Louis, Tyson, Rocky or Frazier would be the best choice. You need someone fast, high workrate, relentless and skilled at trapping guys to hit Toney consistently enough to beat him.

    I'd like to see Sam Langford against him, although I'm not sure if Sam was busy enough to stop Toney.

    Lennox isn't the guy who tried to knock you out in most fights. I wouldn't put him nearly on the top

    Lennox Lewis' long right hand would land repeatedly and break James up. Toney could only get up so often from taking those shots.
