Who's gonna save the heavyweights?? Who's the next Heavyweight?? as the heavyweights go, so does boxing!!! the HEAVYWEIGHT picture is messy!!! who's gonna save it?? who?? WHOO?!?! WHO?!??! SHUT DA **** UP ALREADY!!! The only reason we say that the heavyweights are dead is because they were KILLED by the European heavyweights where its ALIVE N KICKING...
Just because All american heavyweights are spoiled and raather do something less risky and more flashy like basketball or football...
EUROP HEAVYWEIGHTS have solid fundamentals, something we've been lacking here...TYSON set up the bar, basically making Heavyweights synnonimous with knockouts and power punching...so everyone tryed to be a bomber to get money and forgot the basics that ACTUALLY do most of the work instead of landing one bomb...it's obvious that the heavyweight is not that UNCLEAR, cuz you have BOTH KLITSCHKO on top, easly picking off the competition one by one...theyve been fighting world class fighters for over a decade!!! it all started when VITALI nearly drained LENNOX LEWIS if it wasnt for that eyeball popping out, VITALI clearly showed us he was the heir apperant...came back to easly destroy MIKETYSON KILLER DANNY WILLIAMS, retired for 4 years, came back to easily spank and batter the most dangerous puncher on the planet in SAM PETER, one sided...
WLADIMIR started off by picking off at SAM PETER himself and killing off the #1 heavyweight champ for the longest time in CHRIS BYRD, KTFO undefeated CALVIN BROCK who, at the time, was the best american heavyweight, then he devistated RAY AUSTIN in 2 rounds WITHOUT EVER THROWING ONE SINGLE RIGHT HAND, then he unifies the belts by outpointing then undefeated champion IBRAGIMOV with the jab alone, fought a street fight and finally cracked awkward and always sturdy TONY THOMPSON who was also one of the only top 10 americans then, just for kicks, he battered around one hit wonder RAHMAN until he finally stopped him...
now, collect both their work together, and the picture is clear, THE HEAVYWEIGHT "HAS" A FACE, MORE LIKE TWO FACES, AND NOT AMERICAN FACES EITHER..its obvious who's domination the division, If wladimir can dominate a whole division with a single jab alone, then why are we still looking???? It's been the "KLITSCHKO division since 2005" and its 2009 now, THATS DOMINATING A DIVISION MY FRIEND, WE FOUND OUR SAVIOR, MABEY NOT WHAT U HAD IN MIND, BUT SOMEONE OR SOME DUDES....ARE RUNNING THE DIVISION FINALLY

Still, IMO, the HW division will be viewed a lot better if a couple of top Americans can come through and challenge the Eastern Europeans.

Is there anyone from the States who could break the current mould?

Ever hear of a paragraph? :yep

Good points though, I think the Heavyweights are getting better & better with many countries & styles represented. It's been that way for awhile now, with the Klitschkos dominating & many good fights still to be made.
