    The final between Tubbs and Dancuta was a huge anti-climax after some of the earlier slugfests. The crowd booed loudly at the end of round 2 due to the lack of action as both guys fought cautiously. Tubbs on points. Tubbs $170,000. Dancuta $50,000.

    Yes, Joe Savage.

    I don't know if it was part of the tourney (doubt it) but he got knocked stupid by Bert Cooper inside of a round.

    Savage pulled out and was replaced by a Romanian Journeyman. Savage fought Cooper some time later.

    The bare knuckle guy was game and had a pretty fair chin. But Cooper's combination of power and accuracy was something he probably hadn't encountered before, and Bert landed his bombs with regularity.

    Funny ending with the ref trying in vain to lift the big log off the canvas :lol:
