How come there are lists and videos of the greatest heavyweight slugfests of all time, but no one ever makes those lists for light heavyweights, middleweights, welterweights, and so on?

Coz the big boys take precedent. LHW, it's smaller sister, division is without question superior. :deal:

Seriously though, I think it does come from a combination of people having better knowledge of the heavies, and there being much more interest in the videos/articles/threads ect.

I think it's odd, tbh. I think the heavyweight list is easy, because there are like 25 really slugfests that are obviously the best, you just have to figure out how you are going to order them. Imo though, welterweights and middleweights would be much harder, cuz I think those two divisions had WAY more slugfests.

I will say that I know of tons of fights, but have not watched all of them, though I have seen many of them.

Moore vs Durelle is one of my favorites. I think Spinks vs Lopez counts as a slugfest .

Crowcroft, what are your top ten cruiserweight slugfests? I can't say on this one for the same reason that I couldn't do a full 10 light heavyweight fights. I just know Holyfield-Qawi I is #1 and Lee Roy Murphy vs. Chisanda Mutti is not far behind.
