    oh yes, I forgot the about the Pryor-Arguello fights, ig those were at welterweight

    It's such a great fight. Prior was like a perpetual motion machine, but there were times Arguello landed flush with shots that by all rights should have literally decapitated Aaron. I never realized how powerful Arguello really was until that fight.

    Unfortunately, it was one weight class up too much for Alexis (still one of the ATGs imo).

    I think the first fight kind of psychologically marred Arguello, which is why he went faster. The 1st one was the epic, and there were shots landed by Alexis...at least half a dozen that would have floored a middleweight. Prior was unbelievably wound up, he just wasn't even going to take the shots of Godzilla laying down. Both men were hugely inspired to win that fight, it's obvious.
