About time we had a unification. Long overdue.

And a lot of respect to Ibragimov for taking this fight.

Wlad does look a bit fruity. He looks so lost in his own thoughts.

    ONE STEP TOWARDS UNIFICATION!!

This fight doesnt produce a UNIFIED CHAMP, but it does get us a step closer.

UNIFICATION IS traditionally IBF, WBA, WBC.

Add the WBO in my book.

I wonder what Ibragimov is doing, as far as sparring, in trying to get together a gameplan to help him get inside and past that left hand that can KO him in one shot.

This kind of fight would be tough to prepare for if you were the small underdog like Ibrag is, and facing a much bigger, and very fast, KO puncher like little Klit.

Ibrag had better be in either one of two places for the entire fight; Either waaaaaaaay outside where Wlad can't reach him, or right up next to him in his face, where he (Ibrag) can land some inside punches before slipping back out in a hurry.

Cause if he spends anytime anywhere other than one of those two places, he'll be cold and horizontal in a hurry.

Theres no way Iggy is 6'2, more like 6'0. Wlad is going to murder Iggy, I just hope he puts up a better fight than the last guys, Brewster, Austin, Brock, and Bryd.

Exactly. Wlad will DESTROY Ibragimov. I expect this fight to one-sided beatdown, leading to a mid rounds KO, sometime around the 7th round.

Yeah, 7th or 8th round is my perdiction as well. I see Iggy being elusive early, but in the middle rounds Wlad will start opening up under Mannys instructions, and will catch him with something big. By the 8th round Wlad will start to really take control, the fight will be stopped at that point IMO.

IBF and WBO has never stayed together, just look at Calzaghe no longer holding the IBF belt he won from Lacy! Another paper champ will soon have the vacant belt and further confuse the picture.

he gave them up because he didnt want to fight the IBF's lame mandatory. Hopkins had both of them for a year

I think Ibragimov will have limited success sticking and moving for the first 4 or 5 rounds till Wlad starts finding him with the right hand and then game over in two rounds tops.

I think Ibragimov could go the distance if he fought safety first and used his southpaw stance to constantly paw off Wlad's jab... but he definitely wouldn't win the decision.
