Yes, I think that Golota could beat guys 5-10 from my list

When somebody tells my that HW is in crisis I couldn't agree with him. Untill I had to make list of 10 best heavies...

    He really wouldn't

He went 12 rounds with some club fighter on that RJJ undercard and was clearly gassed after 6 rounds

Before Golota fight Mollo was considered one of the top prospects at HW, even a contender. I think that Golota made him looking so bad because of higher boxing skills, size and tactic (!)

Mollo is young, and future will tell is he a club fighter or someone better. Golota scholed him, and let's hope that he learned a lot

As they say "you are as good as your last fight" and Mollo is going to have a hard time untill his next match

Chag (until Vitali returns, then he'll move everyone down one, and take #2)

    Ibrag

    Maskaev

    Valuev Peter (tie)

    Riuz

    Povetkin

    Liakhovitch

Chambers Virchis Thompson.....all three about equal for the tenth spot.

Your list is very interesting, I dont know whats more crazy the fact that you have a guy that hasnt in been in the ring in like 14 months at your 9 spot or the fact you still have Vitali at the 2 spot after 3+ years of inactivity? Even if Vitali does come back, he will not be the same fighter he was back in 04, and would probably get knocked out in short fashion against a puncher like or even Maskaev at this point in his career.

    Ummm, yes he is...

Defeated Toney twice (who was ranked in the top 5 each time Peter fought him), defeated McCline, and gave Klitschko his toughest fight in his past 6 fights or so. Plus, he has a fraction of the WBC title.

    He's a top 10 heavyweight

Oh, I forgot about the Ukrainian kid who just beat Hoffman. Dimitrenko. I would put him at #10 by a slight margin over Thompson or Chambers. Chambers has some nice skills but is on the smaller side. Thompson is probably too old to make a big impact at this point.
