Pulev hasn't beat anyone lately. I wouldn't rate Pulev in the top 10. I'm not sure Joshua deserves top 10 yet either.
Ridiculous logic being used in this thread. So based on resume Fury is better than Wlad? If it's not based on resume but boxing ability or a mixture of both then Wlad has to be number one. Fury fights Joshua next week, Joshua wins does that then make him better than Wlad or Haye? Nonsense.
1. The Furious one 2. Wlad 3. Povetkin 4. Ortiz 5. Wilder 6. Pulev 7. Browne 8. Duhaupas 9. Joshua 10. Takam
I didn't think Joshua deserved a top 10 spot either but when it came to compiling a list it was hard to find 10 heavyweights who where obviously better. The division still lacks depth, too many unproven prospects and too many of the old guard have fallen away.
Yeah, that's true. Joshua might get in the top 10 by default. The last 3 or 4 places in the top 10 will come down to comparing those unproven prospects against the inactive but formerly established/proven fighters.
Seriously, you think pulev is anywhere close to AJ level, and you really think he'd last more than 3 beat down rounds ?
I rate Pulev under Joshua, but over Wilder. He's tall, he's tough and he has a great jab. But Hughie Fury looked even better at their common opponent.
Joshua needs to do more than win a bum fix fight to get into the top 10 IMO. Lets be real- Fury stripped the IBF belf and two bums fight for the belt. One's knee crumbles. The winner (Martin) gets a huge £3 mil payday and comes in flabby as Arreola and drops from a stiff right... Good for the heavyweight scene but Joshua is getting gifted here. He ought to consider himself lucky he is getting this shot but it will be pay day for him soon. As soon as he fights someone who can counter.
