Idiotic ****. Wlad and Vitali take away their opponents best weapons. Vitali looked much better against Arreola who really kept trying than against Gomez who gave up after about five rounds. You are probably one of those who predicted Peter by easy KO before the Wlad fight and afterwards said Peter was just a bum. Do you really think the Klitschkos somehow magically get opponents who train for years for this opportunity and then just don't want to go for it in the ring? Look at how many times Arreola was uploading a punch only to be hit first by Vitali and not finding a target. The Klitschkos are beatable like everyone else, but they are damn good fighters.

Wlad by brutal 6th round KO. Cooney hits the deck 3 times and can't beat the count on the last one.

Cooney is tough and dangerous but very limited, he was also less experienced in long distance fights. Much like Holmes, I think Wlad is too smart and complete all around. Cooney had a bothersome jab that could offset Wlad at points but it won't be enough to win him the fight and if just aggressively swinging loaded left hooks is the key to victory than the hard hitting but also limited Derrick Jefferson would have upset him. Wlad shows respect, takes this into deep water behind his accurate jab, and stops Cooney late. As Holmes showed, Cooney is open for a sharp right hand lead and Wlad can deliver those with the best of them.
