Corbett has the stamina and style to exhaust Foreman under LPR. Plus, he wouldn't break his hands.

Corbett wears Foreman down and closes his eyes with some first-rate milling. Foreman's chances vastly improve, however, if he gets some decent wrestling experience before the bout.

    I also think Corbett.

With 30 seconds to recover after a knockdown, Foreman would not be able to put him away. It would eventualy turn into an endurance contest which Corbett would win.

Corbett wins... in court. After George is convicted of manslaughter

I hope there will be more discussion on this .
Corbett was nimble and knew how to defuse power hitters ,but Foreman had great ability to reduce the ring , he understood geometry very well.
If we could have a combination of George with his athleticism when young, and his relaxed, allmost nonchalant pacing when old , I would pick Georgie Porgie, without doubt ,but I will hold my fire and hope for more input.

foreman did cut the ring pretty well, and without gloves, he would destroy corbett....

It would be harder, not easier, for Foreman to stop Corbett under this rule set.

How amny bareknuckle fights have been concluded withing the duration of a modern ten round bout?

You could counter your argument ,by asking how many hooks to the body could Corbett survive from Foreman ? Given, he was kod by just one from Fitz?
    Just a thought.

    :huh

You usually give modern fighters a massive edge because they have better technique for Queensberry rules, right? Well, Corbett has the technique advantage. His style was designed for bareknuckle boxing, and Foreman's wasn't.

    So why does Foreman win?

A pertinent thought, but under LPR Corbett would have beaten the count against Fitz.
