Remember, read the Question!!! You do not win a LPR fight by KO, you win when your opponent fails to come up to scratch and toe the line... And clearly as they are fights to the finish, you do not win a LPR fight on points!!!
I surprise myself by voting for the defensive boxer here.I can see Marciano's swings resulting in damaged mitts, with Johnson's strength inside, and clinching ability giving him the edge. I also feel Rocky would be very vulnerable to Jack's uppercut. Marciano may put Jack down with his Suzie Q, but the extra recovery time should be enough for Jack to shake off the cob webs and hold, till his head is clear . Johnson's defence would mean Rocky would be swinging and missing a lot and ,when he landed ,most of his artillery would not be hitting vital areas. Johnson eventually opens up deep cuts around Rocky's eyes and the Block buster is forced to retire. I am sure others will see this as a ko for Rocky ,and it is entirely possible.
I voted for Jack Johnson due to his wrestling background and experience in battle royales. I think he would have slightly better tools for this.
I honestly have no idea how to rate Johnson anymore ... Marciano seems to be made for him but after reading so much about the Hart fight I just don't know ...
Given that Johnson toyed with Burns ,and that Burns beat Hart ,is there just a chance that those ringsiders who stated Johnson beat Hart ,might have been correct? If they were, would this alter your opinion in any way?
