Agreed, Tyson did break his hand against Mitch Green, but he also KO'd him with that atomic straight right.

Watching their '86 pro fight, you can see that Mitch had a truly titanium chin...

Nobody else ever took close to that many flush bombs from Tyson without going down, but in their bareknuckle streetfight, Tyson sparked Green with one punch!

Vitali quit because he does not have the balls necessary to compete under LPR rules.
I did not mention Johnson ,but no surprise, you did.
Very bad tactics on your part
Johnson was tkod by Klondike when he was 21 years old.

He retired between rounds 7 & 8 when he was 48 years old
Johnson went 20 rds to a draw ,with a broken radius bone in his arm

He was 35 years old, facing a big strong hard puncher, 6'3'' 220-240lbs

Vitali was facing a powder puff hitter, in Chris Byrd

Vitali was 28 years old in the very middle of his prime

    THERE IS NO COMPARISON
    :nono:nono:nono:nono:nono:nono:nono:nono

Whatever anyone, [except for you], says about Jack Johnson ,none question his courage

You carry on ,hero worshipping your white heavyweights Champs Jim Jeff ,and the Bros Klit.:hi:

Tyson would have to be smarter and not throw wide punches under LPR. Once you break your hand you've lost your power even if you try to suck it up and punch through it your body stops you

Yes i know, the rules of the topic do state 6 months training in LPR style rules.

I'm just saying that i don't believe anyone could take a full-power gloveless bomb from Mike Tyson...

tyson was the ultimate guinea pig. back in the mid-eighties, his trainers could have been telling him to do anything and he would have executed it. a fighting machine.

Nonsense, the workrate his much slower under these rules & Old Foreman showed solid stamina against Holyfield, Stewart, Savarese & Briggs.

Plus his shoving his opponent would be totally tolerated.

good point actually. as i think about it, he's strong as a ****ing ox and he was shoving huge world class fighters around with ease. for this type of fight though, he'd need to straighten up his punches and compress them a bit

:nono my money would have been on Max Baer. Power, chin, stamina and decent skills.

Maybe Old George could win just by using his telephone-pole jab, grappling & shoving.

Yet nobody ever managed to do anything similar in 200 years of bareknuckle boxing.

This sort of thing has happened queensbury fights and in street fights between queensbury boxers but never in a LPR fight.

    You have to ask why.
