How would the powerful right hand of "Ingo" work against the fine boxing skills of Tunney?

Please vote & explain. Please give result of prediction.
    Round one. 10 Rounds.

Tunney stops Ingo in 9, after very cautiously outboxing him for 8 rounds. There would be no way for Ingo to beat Tunney.

The stoppage would result from the cumulative effect of the many hard right hand that Gene would zero in with and much damage would occur, but in the 9th, Ingo would be down twice, forcing a stoppage of a dreadfully onesided fight.

as said, tunney would out box the swede and with johanssen totally frustrated and beaten up he quits on his stool late or is saved by the ref while turning his back on tunney in a no mass gesture

I don't think Johansson ever displayed any quit in him.

Johansson could land the big right hand over Tunney's low left. That's how Dempsey hurt Tunney and floored him with a follow-up combination. A puncher like Johansson always has a chance. But I imagine Tunney would be able to stay away from the big right for the most part, and outpoint Johansson, maybe stop him if Johansson runs out of stamina.

Keep in mind that Johansson did KO two opponents past round 12 so he didn't have terrible stamina, aside from the third fight with Patterson when he was 10+ lbs over his best fighting weight.

Another interesting thing about Johansson is that he usually threw 100 jabs per round, few of them with any real authority, but it would serve as a nuisance to other boxers until he decided to unleash the right hand. He used quick feet to get out of the way of Patterson's quick hands in the first fight.

I reckon Tunney would be able to outbox Ingo before applying some steady pressure to stop it. Ingo's right is not just some punch that we should give credit to and nothing else though, that **** can end fights.

Tunney by late stoppage he is so far in front of Ingo he laps him!
Tunney has the footwork and fast hands to keep Ingo reaching all night ,and a quick accurate right hand to pulp his face up.

It wasn't really any different than for example Gene Tunney's footwork.

Johansson said he planned to tire his opponent out and KO him in the 3rd round. Never got the chance.

I've also seen Ali go rounds without throwing more than maybe 10-15 punches.

Basically I don't see how Johansson could have been DQ'd for that. It's not like he was literally running away from Sanders, as in turning his back and trying to get away as fast as he could.

Gene Tunney by late stoppage or decision. Tunney would put on a masterful performance.

That was a 12 rd fight, and Tunney was just up from the ONLY knockdown he ever suffered.I submit that is a bit different to a 3 rd fight ,where a boxer runs for the 2 rds before being chucked out.The referee was perhaps a bit harsh, but Johansson was very reluctant to engage .Tunney wasnt reluctant to throw punches ,he was reluctant to stand there and take the replies, so he didn't.Ingos left was just a range finder for his bingo right,Tunney had a punishing short left ,and he hooked off it and threw quick rights straight down the pipe, he beats Ingo seven days a week, ,a novice Ali made Ingo look a bum with his speed, and so would Tunney.
