Can the smooth boxing skills of Corbett. Tame "The Wild Bull of the Pampas"?

Vote & please explain your decision. Please give predicted result.

This would be butchery. Ten rounds of Firpo being slahed apart for his aggression. 10-0 shut out unless Firpo gets lucky with a huge swing to lift a round or two, Firpo's hammered face telling it's own story at the final bell.

Corbett wins by UD or late tko.

Firpo built his reputation off winning and loosing results against fighters willing to trade with him.

Jack Johnson embarased him in sparringt before the Dempsey fight and I am prepared to predict that a prime Corbett would do the same.

Firpo would need a knockout to win and the chances are that he wouldn't get it inside ten rounds.

The free swinging Firpo could at least at some point, stagger or even hurt Corbett. But Corbett should recover & be able to safely navigate a ten round decision.

After now having seen Firpo's fights against Jack Dempsey, Bill Brennan as well as Jess Willard, I'd have to say that he is quite dangerous especially for a smaller man like Corbett because he was not afraid at all to rough opponents up with his terrific strength.

I do agree with the above though that Corbett would likely be able to hold off the Wild Bull for 10 rounds and win a decision. Firpo has never seen boxing like that aside from when he was humiliated by an old Jack Johnson.
