The ten round limit is favourable to Baer but I would still pick Jeffries.

I think that Jeffries would be durable enough to take Baer's punches and scientific enough to counterpunch his way to a points win.

Jeffries should take this if he gets to the right distance to control Baer's surges. Watching him ship bombs to Baer and come back punching (my bet) would be a sight to see.

Baer catches Jeffries absolutley flush. Does he go?

Jeffries had great foot movement, and way too much skills for Baer.

    Jeffries on PTS.

I'll take Jeffries aswell. I think he's more than durable enough to last the 10 round distance, and might be relatively difficult for Baer to hit with that right hand flush from the crouching style. I think he wears Baer down with his strength and wins a decision.

    Jeffries PTS 10.

I am going to guess no.

While Jeffries didnt face a fighter who hit as hard as Baer he faced some prety heavy punchers who had better delivery and finishing technique wearing smaller gloves.

Jeffries UD. He'll be able to counterpunch Baer easily to take a decision.

Just to put in perceptive, when reporters asked Jeffries what he thought of the Baer vs. Carnera match, he just shook his head and said I wish they were around in my day.

Jack Johnson could not stop laughing and and said he'd bet on the under dog because both were equally bad.

A motivated Baer was a tough out, but he was seldom motivated and would not win a gind it out match. I'll take Jeffries via TKO on body shots.

    Baer by ko 1 .

No ,seriously I think Jeffries could weather Baer's right hand ,though he might be shaken up a couple of times,Jeffries , never faced a big man who hit as hard as Baer, but I think he could absorb the power.
    Jeffries by dec.
