Heavyweight Tourney: Rd 1: Nicolay Valuev .Vs. Jack Dempsey

Valuev sucks donkey balls but so did most of the people Jack Dempey faced. I would still pick Valuev to beat Dempsey though no matter how much he sucks.

 

Until we see a situation where Valuev is stunned and dropped, the safe assumption is that he's impervious. However, he's a humungous target, and I don't see how Jack misses him. Nor do I see how the big slow man manages to lay a glove on him. Easy win for Dempsey.

Dempsey by KO. Dempsey's speed, power and overall skill is levels above Valuev. Think Willard fight but much more brutal.

 

Jess Williard was a bum, Firpo was a bum jus look at the people he fought up until he fought Jack Dempsey. As i said Valuev sucks big time but he is still alot better than the people Dempsey fought.

Jess Willard at least could move around that ring.

I say if a 40 something Holyfiled could outpoint Valuev(And I dont know what fight the judges were watching) I think Jack Dempsey cuts though him like a knife though butter. Only unlike Willard were there was a feeling out stage for the first min or so, Dempsey would not need it.

 

Dempsey chips away at him slowly but surely, making sure he avoids Valuev's slow bombs. Takes over late and goes in for the kill, knocking Valuev over several times before the ref calls it off.

This would be ugly....Dempsey too fast, too vicious and too much power...Valuev may last 5, but its ugly

 

If Valuev didn't get KO'd, he'd be a **** for life after this fight. And probably a cripple, too. Basically Dempsey would give him a horrific, disgusting, unthinkable beating.
