Klitschko fresh off of hs victory over Bob Fitzsimmons will be facing Tommy Burns, who just defeated a tough Jimmy Braddock in the first round.

Please give reasoning for prediction. Please give predicted result.
Last Bout of the Second Round.

    Second Round. 12 Rounds.

Burn's beat Braddock. Does Tommy boy continue his upset streak? No... too physical, too much size, too much power. Johnson size was incredibly difficult for Burns in their first bout, imagine how his size would be against Vitali.

Klit KO2 Burns........ A horrid mismatch......... Burns lands nothing of note, but eats several bombs from Klitschko before going down......... The cops at ringside surround the ring quickly to ensure the fight is called / waived........ Klit SMOKES Burns quickly...........

Vitali picking on middleweights. Klitschko blows away the game but outmatched Burns.

Burns by ko, I think the right hand would drop and ko Kilt the movement it lands.

Just like it did to Moir.

It wasnt so much Johnson's size, it was his skill, defensive ability and offence. Tommy was used to being the underdog and he would have a game plan to combat Vitali's straight up size.

Vitali relies on his strenghth and his jab, to set up the right which is rarel thrown but is effective when it lands. Tommy, for such a short power puncher has excellent movement and ability to avoid a punch and hit without getting hit. Particularly when his opponent does not clinch to wear him down.

I think Tommy suprises Vitaly early and rocks him with some big shots in the first few rounds and has Vitaly missing with shots and swinging wildly and frustratedly. The closest Vitaly has fought to Tommy is Chris Byrd, who did not have anywhere near as good a punch but was definsively quite good. Vitaly would need to dig deep to win this one.

The other problem he has is that Burns has a chin of iron. He will simply keep getting up and keep coming back if he is knocked down. At the end of the day though, I will give Vitaly the win on pts with his power eventually landing and wearing down a game Tommy Burns.
