The 1991 Lewis was n't Lennox in his prime though. He was still very much a 'work in progress,at this juncture.
:rofl:roflatsch Explain your self, Klit-Licker! You must mean if the fight was in Germany And the ref had a raging boner for Wlad, let him clinch/lean 200+ times, And his personal judges scored him every round on teh basis of 3mins of loving hugging her round.
foreman hook: they all **** right now and wouldn't be in the top 50 at thhis time in the past. every fighter from the past wins against today fighter!!! i'am foreman hook, the best expert of boxing with great crediantials and experience as a boxer!!! you are diselusional. i hoped that the guys here are not that dumb like in the general forum, but **** they are even dumber. USA USA USA USA USA USA USA hahah
Heh, show me Holyfield fight where his opponent was forced to use excessive clinching. As a matter of fact, Holyfield was a clinch-master himself but you don't really believe that Holyfield can outmuscle Wlad in clinches, do you? By the way, what's the Holyfield record against superheavies again?
Mike Tyson, Hasim Rahman, Lennox Lewis, even Bowe in spots looked to hold. He wouldnt need to because Wlad cant fight on the inside so Holyfield would be hurting him badly. If Holyfield could fight with Riddick Bowe on the inside he could easily exploit a guy who does nothing but hold. How many did he fight one in his prime and he went 1-2 against a fighter who was far more complete than Wlad. As an old man and against the modern day oafs that cant fight a lick inside he did pretty well against the likes of Hasim Rahman and Valueav. Vitali Lewis should be a pretty clear indication of what a complete fighter can do against a good outside fighter. Wlad's whitewash losses against mediocre opposition totally exploited his inabilities on the inside and should keep posts like your's from ever being posted. Holyfield in his prime would handle both Klitschkos rather easily.
People seem to be forgetting that although 1991 Lewis was green, 2011 Vitali is no spring chicken and is past prime. Lewis would have a significant speed advantage at this juncture, as well as the size and length to get to Vitali consistently (as he already showed in their actual fight). Although the experience advantage obviously goes to Vitali.
Bowe was inside fighter himself. He didn't even try to outbox Holyfield on the outside. Clinching tactics were instrumental for Holyfield against Tyson. Given size/skill Wlad would have no problem keeping Holyfield on the outside and smaller Holyfield would get crushed in clinches on a few rare occasions he manages to get close.
The only match up that the class of 2011 would win is Vitaly vs Lewis. Mainly because Lewis was still green in 1991. Other than that I expect all of them to win, and most of them to win by KO.
The 1991 squad could clean sweep all them matches, despite not using arguable with the hindsight the best Heavyweight of 91, Riddick Bowe. And not to mention an undefeated Ray Mercer; who's chin and punch at the time probably makes him at least pick'em with any of the class of 2011.
Tyson knocks every single one of them out, as does Holyfield as does Lennox. Old Foreman im not sure about against Vitali or Wlad, he wipes his ass wtih Adamek though PS, If Teddy Atlas couldnt scare Tyson by putting a gun to his head, i highly doubt hed intimidate Tyson by giving him a dirty look or yelling at him between rounds.
