Are you talking about Corrie Sanders?
I do not think he belongs on this list, in fact I think he would win almost all 10 of my list before the third round.
from what year officially did wbo happen to be recognized?

when he was "titlist" he belonged on this list for sure, he was 38 and shot2shyt trained for 4 rounds - that is appalling for someone supposedly opn top of the world. if a 4 round fighter is the top of the world, thats not good sign for hw boxing.

but prime one that got stopped by rahman, he doesnt belong here no.

Id like to change this to:

    1)jimmy young (by a mile)
    2)golota
    3)tyrell biggs
    4)ruddock
    5) ibeabuchi

Guys like cooney, williams, lyle ,tua are also v relavent...
But realistically the 1970s was such a tough era of no paper titlists....the first half of 80s sure guys like cooney, williams, could easily have had a belt...but the 2000s os when its a free for all...with the wbo and weak titlists like byrd and ruiz always vulnerable

Corrie is not one of the best champions in history, but not even crazy is one of the worst,
in those four rounds that you say knock out all of my list and several more

no way, they wouldnt be dumb enough to walk into him. You act like hes george foreman for 4 rounds, just cos he took weak chinned wladdie in 2, who didnt have the depth to deal with a southpaw. The others knew how to box them.

it's true Jimmy was a great fighter, i really had forgotten him.
I do not consider golota a good fighter, he lost all the important fights he had and there were several, I think he was robbed against byrd equal and Biggs had a good future but his managers ruined it.
Its as you say the era of the 2000 was a free for all and the 80 and the 70 was the bravest time.

it is not necessary to be a Foreman to beat this list of 10 before the 4th round,
Sanders would easily win most of this list .. you can see your hatred about Wladimir champion for more than 10 years in a row

Disagree Damiani was a bad champ ( WBO)
Tough , decent man who would've been a handful for anyone.
Non champs...well I look at guys who were better than some who were crowned champ ( including alphabet champs) and I think of Jimmy Young 1976/7/ Gary Mason 1989/ Tyrell Biggs 1987 (pre Tyson).

what we can see is a man who couldnt get into contention for a title shot even in his prime, being lauded for some mysterious reason above legit belt holders.

wonder why. oh, you mentioned a name for a reason, cheers saves me doing it for a different reason.

If jimmy jacobs still had tyson after spinks rather than the 2 fights he had from july 88-feb 1990 i think he woulda had 4 more and damiani woulda been one, rodriguez, snipes and possibly mason last....mason wouldve been the hardest..gary had power, fought at a hard pace ,good chin and heart...probably 7th round kayo
