Old school contenders would whip on today's HWs.
All the current Super HWs have on their side is size, and not skills.
None of today's HW or SHW will even make the top 15 of ATG list.
Look at Vlad who has never faced an A level opponent in his entire career, but his fans willuse the same lame excuse they use for Golovkin; It ain't his fault.

He has a big frame: https://www.google.se/search?q=mercer+vs+lewis&espv=2&biw=780&bih=364&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiuzrO61qfRAhVDYFAKHVIbDN8Q_AUIBigB#imgrc=2YY_vf-NNT8tiM%3A

And he didn't gain all that much in his early career either: http://boxrec.com/boxer/1620

Modern heavyweights obviously. I also think the smaller heavyweights of today who would be large or extra large for the 70s would dominate the 70s pretty easily like Haye, Povetkin etc

These old school boxing nostalgia lads would have you convinced that some 5'9 185 pound heavyweight from the 40's who smoked 40 a day would whoop wlad and Lennox on the same night. Complete madness.

They have ate too many member berries

Fighters like Rocky Marciano should be compared to Joe Calzaghe, and Ali to fighters like Usyk. That is sensible and fair.

Yup , its the same on any boxing forum you have these old time nutjobs (and I use that term literally because they are nuts) who basically think that Joe Louis would murder Lennox and wlad, its alright appreciating he's greatness but you would have to be nuts to believe this.

Its the same with football you have old school nutjobs. I think its a mental illness with some of these guys like an acute case of nostalgia. You could probably imagine them smashing up their smart phones and going back to writing letters to people because they are under the illusion that it was much better back thsn

And if you gave Ali the body fat of Ruiz jr who arguably won a title bout few weeks ago, he'd have probably came in the ring around 260 lbs. I guess he wasn't fat and lazy enough to be sensibly and fairly compared to current HWs, eh?

Marciano Suzie Q wilder ala Walcott.
Tyson brunoed Joshua into Bolivian, round 3 or 5, take your pick.
Ali williamed wladdy worse than sanders.
Foreman bludgeoned Lennox.
Liston will make Parker wish he is a shearer.
Holmes jabs paper shred Vitali face.
And how Louis make kingkong one his bum tour.
