A 45 year old who was as famous for eating burgers and selling no-fat grills as he was for boxing was in better shape than a lot of current fighters.

There are quite a few more but I don't have the time and I remind you we're talking about the division, not ATGs. Furthermore, I don't consider Stander to be "fat" in this picture but many garden variety boxing fans who have only seen fights on television and the Rocky movies would look at this pic and mistakenly believe Stander was fat.

Chambers could easily cut to cruiserweight and pick up a title IMO

I do not think Chagaev and Povetkin are "fat". But some on that list make me want to watch them jump rope for 45 minutes and see what they can do. A pug could be as spherical as Butterbean but if he could skip rope for a good long while, body by beer-kegs wouldn't bother me.

We could go to any previous era and find guys like; Botha, Page, James Broad, Buster Douglas who would appear "fat" to people who have limited exposure to boxing.

Chag looks like Russell Crowe in Cinderella Man, and we all know General Maximus has had "weight issues".

Christ on a bike, are you seriously trying to tell me that Ali, a non-shot Ali that is, was overweight? Holmes, Page, sure they were soft looking, but were they overweight in their primes? Page was, at times, but Holmes at a lanky six foot three only started weighing into the 230s after the Tyson fight. As for Galento, I don't even know why you keep bringing that guy up. He'd be a fat f*ck in any era he was in, and he wasn't anything approaching a great fighter.

But this is beside the point. Like I already said, I don't care if a fighter is ripped or not, I care if they're overweight. And if a fighter is packing too much fat or too much muscle for their frame then they're still overweight.

Helenius is soft looking too, but I consider him more in shape for his height and build than an overmuscled smaller guy like Adamek.

Learn to read. I said "overweight" not "fat". But have you even seen Chagaev in his last few fights? He looks like a beer-bellied bum. You trying to tell me that guy's in shape?
