Why not? Now's the time, if ever. Finally you got a division at HW, you got a good bunch of guys and a MARKETABLE bunch of guys. Fury Wilder Wlad Joshua Haye (what's his status, is he retired? I'm sure he could be presuaded to come back) And you got there a guy who's fantastic on camera, Fury, a guy who ain't completely boring, Haye, and a guy who, if nothing else, is a loud mouth in Wilder. Its a decent cast of characters for the press and the behind the scenes show. You could get the general public interested in this stuff maybe.
Get Fury out of there, he is boring as **** to Watch. Throw someone like ortiz WHO comes to knock you out , in instead.
i'd like this. but how do we get showtime & hbo to do this? showtime said they signed joshua for the wilder fight. so that's probably gonna be the fight when the smoke cleared, and it will be massive. ortiz is old and overrated. super six should be: Anthony Joshua Deontay Wilder Wladmir Klitschko Joseph Parker David Haye Tyson Fury
I would hate to see this....the winner would be accused of "lucking into having his fights made for him"....and there would be one guy that didn't get in, that's fighting bums waiting for the winner, that the winner would be accused of ducking
Take Vlad out he's finished.add Ortiz to the mix instead.this would be great but I can't see it happening to much money at stake.
1. Deontay Wilder 2. Wladimir Klitschko 3. Tyson Fury 4. Anthony Joshua 5. David Haye 6. Alexander Povetkin That would be my super six
Boxing politics won't let it happen, but I'd bump it up to a 8 man tourney to get all of the significant heavyweights. Casuals would be on board in the US by the end of this tourney.
Actually an all-inclusive tournament like this could be HUGE for boxing. Imagine, the winner would be the first unified belt holder in ages. It would also be an old vs new tournament where it's likely that a young lion comes and wins but it's also possible that guys like Povetkin and Wlad could come out on top.
