The big Brazilian super middleweight (standing 6′1½″ with 76½″ reach) has been quietly building up his professional profile in the last two years since his pro debut - which came a year after winning an Olympic gold medal in Tokyo. That has aged like fine wine, as the man rallied from down on the cards to kayo in that match, Khyzhniak, just breezed through all the competition in Paris to claim gold a division up at 80kg earlier today. Most recently, this past June he took a wide UD over southpaw countryman Esquiva Falcão (himself an Olympic middleweight silver medalist in 2012) for the vacant Brazilian 168lb title.
