Co-main event of tomorrow's big New Year's Eve triple-header, sandwiched between Mthalane vs. Sakamoto and Nietes vs. Ioka, broadcast in the Philippines on ABS-CBN live through Sky Cable PPV. WBA Super world light flyweight title at stake, 1st defense of Budler. They both fought in separate world title bouts in Tokyo in May. On that show Kyōguchi retained his IBF minimumweight title for the last time (no longer able to make the 105 pound limit thereafter) by getting off the canvas to gut out a UD over tough Filipino challenger Vince Paras, while in the main event Budler eked out a competitive and somewhat controversial over Kyōguchi's decorated countryman and Watanabe Promotions stablemate, Ryōichi Taguchi, ending Taguchi's four-year reign and becoming unified & lineal champ. Budler gives up an inch of height but has a ½″ reach advantage. He is five years older and has boxed nearly five-fold as many rounds professionally, his career starting nearly a decade earlier than Kyōguchi's.
Attention: the whole card (INCLUDING the Mthalane vs. Sakamoto fight, which none of the Asian television broadcasts - qqlive in China, TBS in Japan, nor ABS-CBN PPV in the Philippines - are showing live) will air on SuperSport9 in Hekkie Budler's home country of South Africa. ...if that information helps anyone in any way.
I expect kyoguchi to choke on his first international fight against a very good opponent. But im not saying he doesn't have a chance.
Kyoguchi will win every round and finally be the man to stop this butt ass ugly troll. Although I voted UD, because that was before I changed my mind.
To reduce it to SAT (or any standardized test in that vein) terms: @CST80 : ugly boxrers :: @Zakman : glass chinned boxers.
