    Good point lot of people forgot about that fight, Cubanito Perez gave him all he wanted, Who was similar to Arguello but no where near the fighter Alexis was.

    :lol::lol:

    Some of our scores are completly different though, but it makes it more interesting.

    It is a good match up. I'm bringing up those examples as Camacho DID have problems with them guys just as Arguello DID have problems with Fernandez (even though Arguello wasnt at his best IMO)

    Also Camacho is southpaw as Duonendem states, and Arguello eats southpaws for brunch.

    Camacho was nowhere near his best for De La Hoya, not worth mentioning.

    Arguello wasnt at his best for Fernandez either IMO. (of course Camacho was alot past his best and Arguello was in his prime just turned in a bad performance)

    It's hard for me to say who is strictly better. Arguello is better technically within his own style, whereas Camacho has great attributes but technically can be deemed more flash than substance in my opinion. Camacho can switch a gameplan and try to outbox his man, it would probably work. But i'm loyal to Alexis and am going for his straight right to find a home and what follows that enables him to take a hard fought one.

    I think Camacho is too often dismissed as a clown and his legacy is too often tied with his performance against DeLaHoya when he was well past his prime. I still believe that he had the fastest hands in history and he would be a MAJOR problem for anyone in him prime.

    Believe it or not, I think he wins an easy decision. Call me crazy.
